Subject Matter

This workshop will explain the context of Labour Agreement programs and the legislative & regulatory requirements for the Agreement, the Nomination and the visa. It will cover sourcing and analysing Labour Agreement policy and information, and how to prepare Labour Agreement submissions and supporting documents.

It provides attendees with supporting document checklists, submission checklists, submission templates, Aged Care MOU, variation pro forma and much more.

This session will explore DAMA and GTES programs in the context of Labour Agreements, but does not go into the detail of these programs, which are covered in other CPD.

  • The legal & policy basis of the Labour Agreement and departmental guidelines
  • Methodology, business case construction and evidence to submission
  • Guidelines on choosing the best option Labour Agreement
  • Various industry templates upon which the framework, structure and pro-formas are based upon including; Company Specific, On-Hire, Minister of Religion, Aged Care, Horticulture, Restaurant, Fishing, Meat, Dairy, Pork, and more.
